True Blood - Frenzy - say what?

In Season 2 episode 11 Eric accuses Bill of feeding Sookie his blood on the "very night you met her". Hang on - wasn't it the second night he met her? The first night they met she saved Bill from the Ratrays. The second night was when the Ratrays beat Sookie almost to death and Bill saved her by giving her his blood. Was this deliberate on AB's part?
